Winchester House

Est. 1892Putney Bridge

Sales, marketing and full event management

The venue

Winchester House has stood by Putney Bridge since 1892, a short walk along the embankment from Thames Rowing Club. Its rooms look onto the river.

It is a members' building with its own committee and its own calendar, and it takes dinners, receptions and daytime meetings alongside member use.

What we run

We run the events side of Winchester House: the enquiries, the viewings, the contracting and the supplier list, then the staffing and delivery of the events themselves.

Member bookings and house fixtures go into the diary first. What is left is what we sell, and we sell it at prices the committee has agreed rather than whatever will fill a date.

Reporting goes to the committee in writing, on the same cycle as their own meetings.
