There are four buildings in our care and the people who sold your event are the people who will be in the room on the night. That is the whole proposition: thirty years of combined event management experience, applied by name rather than by account manager.

The founder

Who you would be dealing with.

OMB Events is run by Olivia Malcolm Berry, an event manager and stylist with more than eighteen years behind her. She took a degree in event management, began in weddings and private events, and has since run them here and abroad.

That length of experience shows up in the ordinary things rather than the memorable ones — the supplier who has not confirmed, the timing that will not hold, the licence nobody thought to check. Olivia and her team find those early, so the committee is not the one finding them on the night.

We also founded Winterberries, a party boutique on Fulham Road with an event space behind it, which we own and run ourselves. It is there for its own reasons, but it is also the honest answer to a fair question from a committee: we do not only advise operators, we are one, with the same lease, staffing and diary to answer for.

The team

We have kept the team small on purpose. Every venue has a named lead who knows its committee, its calendar and its quirks, and who is there for the events that matter rather than sending someone junior. When a chair rings, they get the person who actually holds the diary.

Between us we have run events in members' clubs, chapels, historic houses and marquees on a lawn in November. We add to the team before we add to the list, so a venue that joins gets a named lead and the same attention as the four already in our care, rather than whatever is left over.
